Licensed aestheticians have completed a minimum of 300 hours of professional training in a Board approved aesthetics school and have successfully passed both a practical and a written exam by the California Board of Cosmetology.

In addition, they have undergone additional training in dermatologic diseases and treatment, and are Certified Medical Assistants.
