• First, your esthetician exfoliates the skin using a special blade – this step is called dermaplaning. Dermaplaning gently removes dead layers of superficial skin cells..
  
• Second, a gentle acid is applied and left on your skin from a few seconds to 4 minutes, depending upon skin type.
  
• The third step uses cryogenic therapy, using carbon dioxide as an anti-inflammatory agent. This also removes oil and blackheads from your pores as well as sun damaged cells.
