Many people are affected by sometimes painful, often prominent
“spider-veins” on their legs or face, particularly
their nose or cheeks.
One of two procedures can be used to eradicate the appearance
of veins:
- Injection with a solution to “sclerose” or
collapse the vein and create scar tissue, which will absorb
into the skin; or
- Treat the veins with a Cutera CoolGlide laser beam, sealing
the vein shut, allowing for natural absorption.
With either procedure, several treatments may be necessary;
however, little discomfort and no downtime is incurred by
the patient.
