After a certain age, almost everyone exhibits some sun damage - wrinkles, hyperpigmentation
(brown blotches), loss of elasticity, possibe actinic keratoses
(pre-cancerous lesions), red blotches, and/or dry, sallow
skin.
Laser, light therapies and chemical peels can reverse sun
damage to a great extent.
Non-invasive laser treatments such as IPL™ (intermittent
pulsed light) targets and removes brown pigmented cells and
blood vessels. Other lasers and radiofrequency technologies
work beneath the skin to create new collagen or rejuvenate
existing collagen, reducing the wrinkles and fine lines brought
on by sun exposure.
Chemical peels are highly effective anti-aging procedures
to reduce and remove brown blotchy skin and smooth out wrinkles
caused by years of sun damage. This is a more invasive procedure
requiring several days of healing, following which the epidermis
and the superficial peel away to reveal new, smooth, even-toned
skin.
We can determine the treatment or combination of treatments
best suited to your condition.
